SAHA EXPO 2026: EJDERHA/AD 210 C-UAS HPeM with Upgrades TurDef

ASELSAN displayed the new member of EJDERHA/AD C-UAS directed HPeM systems as EJDERHA/AD 210 with a larger antenna, optics, and radar integration.

Shortly after EJDERHA/AD 200 entered serial production, ASELSAN [BIST:ASELS] unveiled the EJDERHA/AD 210, introducing some upgrades compared to the baseline version at SAHA EXPO 2026.

Firstly, EJDERHA/AD 210 uses a considerably larger antenna with a new design, which hints at increased range and possibly the capability to disable larger UAVs.

Secondly, the system has its own sensor suite consisting of a coaxial IR camera and AURA 100-G UAV detection radar. Both sensors are mounted in ways so that they will be outside the “exclusion zone” from the HPeM weapon.

HPeM weapons have emerged as one of the new solutions to the C-UAS problem, having the low cost per shot and instant reach advantages like a laser, but also having a wider area of effect to ease the engagement. Rather than heating a specific point or defeating with kinetic energy, HPeM weapons cause short-circuiting in the electronics onboard the target, rendering them unusable.

Various approaches, such as directed plate antennas and electronic antennas, are present when it comes to the configurations. Due to ASELSAN’s capabilities in developing a wide array of RF systems like radars and communication antennas using electronic antennas and the pace of development for EJDERHA/AD line, it would not be hard to guess that new types using electronic antennas offering multi-directional engagement will be developed soon.
