ROKETSAN presented the TAYFUN Block 4 ballistic missile as the heavy hitter of the TAYFUN weapon system on KOLUMAN’s DERMAN 8x8 launcher at SAHA EXPO 2026.
Following the unveiling at IDEF2025, ROKETSAN displayed the TAYFUN Block 4 ballistic missile on the DERMAN 8x8 launcher truck from KOLUMAN at SAHA EXPO 2026 international defence exhibition.
As the heaviest member of the TAYFUN ballistic missile line, only one TAYFUN Block 4 is carried in an open launcher. In contrast, two canister-stored Tayfun Block 1/2A/2B/3 ballistic missiles can be carried.
Measuring 938 mm in diameter (Roughly 1.5 times that of other variants) and 10 m in length, TAYFUN Block 4 has a total weight of 7200 kg.
While the range figure is not disclosed, it is believed to be significantly longer than Block 3, which is arguably among the extended range variants due to the difference in rocket motor size and the sharply profiled nosecone to minimise drag.
