Turkish MoD: "Our Land Forces Command has completed the inspection and acceptance activities of various Armoured Anti-Tank Vehicles."
Turkish Defence Ministry spokesperson Admiral Zeki Aktürk stated at a press briefing that new anti-tank vehicles have entered the Land Forces' inventory. According to this statement, some of FNSS's PARS 4x4 and KAPLAN-10 vehicles have entered the inventory. The statement does not include information about the types of vehicles.
These vehicles are equipped with Roketsan’s Yalman turret, which fires Roketsan’s Cirit missile and UMTAS or L-UMTAS ATGM.
The KAPLAN-10 is a new generation armoured combat
fighting vehicle that can move together with main battle tanks.
The PARS 4x4 is designed to undertake special operational roles such as advanced surveillance, anti-tank and command and control.
