The Ministry of National Defence of Vietnam is taking the initiative to organise this event for the second time, and the Viet Nam Defence Expo 2024 is the second time they have done so. The fundamental purpose of this organisation is to allow the interchange of successes and research insights, as well as developments in the manufacturing and deployment of armament and equipment. Additionally, the exhibition intends to improve the level of collaboration that exists within the military sector among the participating countries.
Since its inception, Viet Nam Defence has successfully attracted significant participation from national industries and defence organisations. To pique the interest of prospective customers, they displayed the most recent items and cutting-edge technology specifically designed for the defence and security industries.
In particular, the 2024 Expo is part of a series of activities being held to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the formation of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the All-People's National Defence Day of Vietnam. Therefore, it is of enormous significance for the Government of Vietnam, the People of Vietnam, and the Ministry of Defence of Vietnam, and it will be a spectacular event with the participation of a large number of international delegations.

The Viet Nam Defence Expo 2024 is the sole event where manufacturers, distributors, and agencies in the defence industry will have the opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities and solutions to fulfil the requirements of the Vietnam People's Army.
