BİTES Defence Aerospace Technologies and MilSOFT Software Technologies signed a cooperation agreement in the Augmented Reality Based Maintenance System Integration field at the Military Logistics and Support Summit. MilSOFT General Manager and CEO Adnan Metin and BITES Defence Founder and CEO Uğur Coşkun signed the agreement.
MilSOFT General Manager Adnan Metin said: “Mil-ILS is the internationally recognised integrated logistics management system that MilSOFT has invested in for a long time. We observe a demand for this product both in our country and abroad. While meeting this demand with this product, this cooperation with BİTES Defence will crown the process, especially regarding the use of the product. As a long-term goal, With this cooperation, we will be able to carry out maintenance services remotely with virtual reality, augmented reality and especially 5G. In the short term, companies that prefer our product will be able to find a more comfortable solution by using the augmented reality technology that we will include in partnership with BITES.”
Uğur Coşkun, General Manager of BİTES Defence, shared the following information about the cooperation: “Combining the years of experience of BITES in augmented reality with the ILS solution developed by MilSOFT in software is a significant step. With this cooperation, we aim to ensure that the data of ILS users and technical personnel can quickly communicate with ILS systems in terms of operation and to create a more controlled environment with a more effective measurement system. We think that with the augmented reality technology that will mediate this, users will become more active in the field and more integrated into the ILS system.
