Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) declared the export figures of the January 2022 defence and aviation industry. The report shows that the Turkish Defence and Aviation Industry sector realised a total of 306 million 811 thousand USD worth of exports in the first month of 2022. The sector reached 2021 with an export volume of 3.2 billion USD. The 2022 export target of the sector is 4 billion USD.
The sector's export performance was also higher than the same term the previous year. January 2022 exports of the sector increased by 84.2 per cent compared to January of the previous year and reached 306 million 811 thousand USD.
In January 2022, Turkey made the majority of exports to Burkina Faso, Bangladesh, India, Tunisia, Qatar and the USA. It is also worth keeping an eye on Indonesia, Ethiopia and Rwanda, which reached over 10 million USD trade volume.
