While the Turkish Defence and Aviation Industry exported 177 million 409 thousand dollars in August 2020, the sector’s exports increased by 60.5% in August 2021, concerning the same period of the year, to 284 million 721 thousand dollars.
In the first eight months of 2020, sector exports were 1 billion 239 million 412 thousand dollars. The sector’s exports increased by 49.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, approaching the 2 billion dollars’ limit and amounted to 1 billion 857 million 123 thousand dollars.
As of August 2020, sector exports to the United States of America amounted to 60 million 737 thousand dollars. Sector exports increased by 42.6% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 86 million 592 thousand dollars.
Sector exports to Ethiopia in August 2021 amounted to 51 million 733 thousand dollars.
Sector exports to France in August 2021 amounted to 44 million 763 thousand dollars.
Sector exports to Tunisia in August 2021 amounted to 23 million 990 thousand dollars.
Sector exports to Morocco in August 2021 amounted to 12 million 302 thousand dollars.
As of August 2020, sector exports to Germany amounted to 11 million 490 thousand dollars. The sector’s exports increased by 3.1% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 11 million 843 thousand dollars.
