Amentum will manage the Viper Maintenance Group Aircraft Maintenance and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) contract. This includes providing technical, logistical and maintenance solutions to F-16/A/B/C/D aircraft based at Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon, Nevada. The contract covers the maintenance of specific models of the F-16 and guarantees complete system maintenance. Likewise, logistical support is confirmed for continuous flight operations. This contract, which begins on August 31, 2023, has a base term of five years with the option to extend for three more years. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is in charge of the contract.
