Indonesia to make $125B Defence Investment Including 50 Warships
The AUKUS deal with Australia, the increasing Chinese hegemony in South East Asia and the loss of KRI Nanggala-402 submarine forced Indonesia to make an important investment in the navy. Indonesia has revealed that a portion of its planned $125 billion investment in defence will procure up to 50 new warships over the next two years.
