On Wednesday, media reports said Greece formally rejected a US proposal to supply Ukraine with additional Russian-made weapon systems.
The first six Rafale fighter jets, out of a total of 24 ordered from France by Greece, landed at the Greek Airbase in Tanagra to join the 332 Squadron.
As a result of financial constraints, Greece has previously organised a donation campaign. Panos Laskaridis donated the general support ship “Ajax” to the Hellenic Navy.
The Greek Minister of Defence Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos participated, Wednesday 17 March, as a keynote speaker in the online event on “Greece’s defence shield as a pillar of stability and development”, organized by the AHEPA. AHEPA is a Greek American civil society organization.
