The first six Rafale fighter jets, out of a total of 24 ordered from France by Greece, landed at the Greek Airbase in Tanagra to join the 332 Squadron.
The first batch of 24 Rafale warplanes will reach Greek territory in January. The first Rafale was delivered to the Greek Air Force in July 2021.
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stated that the Hellenic Air Force would have 24 Rafale aircraft, not 18.
The Greek Defence Minister participated in the online event on “Greece’s defence shield as a pillar of stability and development”, organized by the AHEPA.
