ASELSAN’s product to provide Close Air Defence System (CIWS) to naval vessels, Gökdeniz, has passed the tests carried out on the ship. At the last stage of the tests, the target, which attacked the ship at high speed over the sea, was destroyed. President of Defence Industries (SSB) Professor İsmail Demir announced the final stage in the project carried out by Presidency.
Kamchybek Tashiev, Chairman of the Kyrgyzstan National Security Committee, says they will take delivery of Turkish Bayraktar TB2 UCAVs soon with a 300 million Kyrgyzstani Som ($33.4 million) price tag. Tahiev’s words indicate that Kyrgyzstan acquires Turkish UAVs.
