ASELSAN has provided information regarding the components of KIZILELMA's FEWS-U self-protection electronic warfare system that was recently tested onboard.
ASELSAN's newsletter included more detailed information regarding the FEWS-U self-protection system, recently tested onboard the KIZILELMA unmanned fighter with a demonstration of radar warning capabilities. According to the news release, the components of FEWS-U are:
-ARIA-U 210 Radar Warning Receiver
-ARK-U 210 RF Jammer
-SÜMER-A 200 Central Control Unit
-KARTACA-A 200 Decoy Dispenser
-GizEM LPI Communication Antennas
This information hints that KIZILELMA will go through many more tests with FEWS-U to test other components like ARK-U 210 jammer and KARTACA-A dispenser for flare/chaff against incoming missiles.
It is also likely that FEWS-U will be adapted for TUSAŞ's ANKA-III UCAV, which will be the deep strike leg of Turkiye's fleet of unmanned combat aircraft.
