Hanwha’s TIGON 8x8 AFV has been put on display with ASELSAN’s SEDA 100 acoustic gunshot detection system at the World Defence Show (WDS) 2026 exhibition.
Following the contract signed between ASELSAN and ROK’s Hanwha for the integration of SEDA 100 on armoured vehicles in 2025, the TIGON 8x8 armoured fighting vehicle has been put on display with the gunshot detection system at WDS2026.
SEDA 100, using acoustics, can detect supersonic projectiles using its microphone array and show the approximate location of the shooter by integration with GNSS.
While SEDA 100 is shown at WDS2026 in its vehicle-mounted configuration, it can be used on a tripod or RCWS such as SARP.
ASELSAN has also developed a derivative, named SEDA 100-cUAV, to detect small UAVs by using their noise signature from propellers and a library to identify them. The acoustic detection system can be used in conjunction with C-UAS systems such as the İHTAR jammer.
