ASELSAN Joins EFES-2024 Exercise

ASELSAN will display more than 70 of its defence products in the EFES-2024 exercise conducted in İzmir. The products in the exhibition include: The ASELFLIR-600 EO system. MİLKAR-3A3 electronic attack system. SURALP weapon locating radar. AURA multi-purpose AESA radar. ASELSAN’s systems, like KORKUT 35 mm SPAAG, are also used during the exercise. ASELFLIR-600 was previously displayed during TEKONFEST 2023 İzmir. The large-sized EO system with higher performance than ASELFLIR-500 is being developed for AKINCI and AKSUNGUR UCAVs. SURALP weapon locating radar is in service with the Turkish Land Forces. The radar can detect rocket, artillery shell, and mortar (RAM) threats up to a range of 250 km. SURALP’s trajectory-finding capabilities are important for a precise and immediate counter-fire. AURA is being developed as a small, multi-use radar. The AESA radar will be able to detect UAVs and low-flying aircraft at longer ranges and have provisions for multi-faced use. Additionally, the radar will have a secondary detection capability against RAM threats. EFES-2024 Exercise is conducted in İzmir with participation from 48 countries, making it among the largest in Europe in terms of scale.
