ASELSAN will introduce a range of new products, including C-UAS, electronic warfare, and sensor systems, at SAHA EXPO 2024 in Istanbul.
ASELSAN’s new C-UAS systems include KORKUT 25 RCWS, KANGAL-FPV jammer, and BUKALEMUN.
ASELSAN’s upcoming KORKUT 25 RCWS chambered in 25 mm ATOM airburst ammunition can be considered a lighter and cheaper alternative to the KORKUT 110/35S (Formerly GÖKER) with one 35 mm chain gun. Thus, it can be mounted on small vehicles or naval platforms without replacing the existing CIWS/PDMS. KORKUT 25 will likely be a multirole system like KORKUT 110/35S capable of engaging UAVs and soft ground targets.
The electronic warfare systems to be exhibited include ANTIDOT 2-U LB/MB/HB, ANTIDOT 2-U, and ANTIDOT 2-U/S pods for UAVs/UCAVs. ANTIDOT 2-U’s LB/MB/HB variants are set for different bands (Low, Medium, High) to attack various radars or communication systems.
ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol made the following statement regarding the participation in SAHA EXPO 2024:
“As ASELSAN, we are excited to be one of the major exhibitors and contributors of SAHA EXPO, Türkiye’s leading international defence & aerospace exhibition. We will proudly display over 150 products in all domains, introduce new ones, and establish new collaborations with our national and international partners. I believe this strategic exhibition will present a significant opportunity for us to introduce our latest innovations to a distinctive audience, forge new partnerships, and reinforce our existing relationships with the industry.”
