KORKUT 140/35 SPAAG with ATOM 35 ABM airburst ammunition, mounted on Otokar’s ARMA II 8x8 armoured vehicle, shot down targets on the move in a recent test.
Following its adoption by the Turkish Armed Forces onboard FNSS’s ACV AD tracked armoured vehicle (KORKUT 150/35), KORKUT SPAAG is ready for 8x8 armoured vehicle platforms.
In the recent test, KORKUT 140/35 SPAAG mounted Otokar’s ARMA II 8x8 vehicle shot down a target UAV while moving to demonstrate its convoy protection capabilities.
ASELSAN stated that KORKUT 140/35 can use ATOM 35 ABM and ATOM 35 IABM airburst ammunition, with the latter featuring denser spread through a smaller and higher count of pellets against UAVs or personnel. Thus, KORKUT 140/35 can be regarded as a dual-role vehicle with secondary fire support capabilities against soft-skinned targets.
Previously, KORKUT 140/35 on ARMA II 8x8 was presented during IDEF2025 in a new configuration, including KALKAN 050-G S-band AESA radars and KANGAL FPV jammers for improved C-UAS capabilities.
KORKUT 35 mm SPAAG has also been integrated on the UAE’s Wahash 8x8 amphibious armoured vehicle as KORKUT 141/35.
