ASLAN 150M1/G UGV Joins Steadfast Dart 2026 NATO Exercise TurDef ASLAN 150M1/G at Steadfast Dart 2026

ASLAN 150M1/G UGV of ASELSAN has joined NATO’s Steadfast Dart 2026 joint exercise, in command of the 66th Mechanised Infantry Brigade of the Turkish Army.

NATO has highlighted ASLAN 150M1/G UGV at Steadfast Dart 2026, promoting Turkiye’s deployment of UGV platforms. The 66th Mechanised Infantry Brigade, marking its third year with ASLAN 150M1/G, has used the UGV in standard configuration.

The standard configuration for ASLAN 150M1/G UGV consists of SARP 100/L 7.62 mm RCWS and a mast-mounted EO/IR system.

ASLAN is ASELSAN’s Medium-1 class UGV with an electrical drive for various applications. These include patrol, fire support for infantry, and logistics support. The UGV can be fitted with SARP 100/L RCWS and/or METE 40 mm laser-guided missiles for combat duties, as well as the AVAZ acoustic weapon for non-lethal uses. The sensors include fixed cameras, LIDAR, and mast-mounted EO/IR.

ASELSAN’s other medium-class UGV development is ASLAN 150M2/G, the Medium-2 class UGV that can operate for longer periods and carry heavier weapons (Such as SARP 100D dual RCWS) and mast-mounted small radars. The UGV also forms the basis for ASELSAN’s recently shown ‘Unmanned GÜRZ’ air defence system concept, which incorporates eight SUNGUR air defence missiles and a 30x113 mm weapon.

Alongside medium-class UGVs, ASELSAN has also developed the ACV-X heavy UGV, a conversion of the modernised ACV-15 tracked armoured vehicle. Sharing the combat load with modernised ACV-15, such as the SARP 200/25 turret, the ACV-X package adds remote/autonomous control systems and close-range sensors like LIDARs. ACV-X was tested during the Kars Winter Exercise of 2025 alongside ASLAN 150M1/G.
