Brazilian Army Commander Visits Otokar’s Facilities TurDef

Brazilian Army’s Commander Tomas Miguel Mine Riberio Paiva visited Otokar’s facilities with the delegation accompanying him.

Brazilian Army Commander’s visit to Turkiye was previously announced to take place between the 25th of October and the 3rd of November.

Otokar announced the visit from the high-ranking Brazilian Army officials on social media, including a photo with TULPAR tracked armoured vehicle’s IFV variant with MIZRAK 30 mm turret and light tank variant with the Italian HITFACT MKII 120/45 mm turret. This visit to Otokar strongly suggests that the Brazilian Army's new tracked combat vehicles is among the major subjects for the Brazilian Army delegation's visit.

Otokar is a contender in the Brazilian Army’s search for new tracked IFVs and light tanks with its TULPAR family. TULPAR is competing against German KF41 Lynx, GDELS ASCOD, and BAE Systems CV90.
