HAVELSAN announced a kamikaze VTOL fixed-wing UAV based on the experiences from its existing BAHA, BULUT, and BOZBEY UAVs, pointing at SAHA EXPO 2026.
As the SAHA EXPO 2026, to be held at the beginning of May 2026, approaches, HAVELSAN announced its first kamikaze UAV, to be based on experiences from its VTOL UAV line and pointed at the upcoming exhibition for more details.
A fixed-wing VTOL kamikaze UAV idea would stand out for its independence from a runway, catapult, or rocket assist that other fixed-wing kamikaze UAVs need. The existing VTOL UAVs of HAVELSAN have a communication range between 50 km and 80 km, depending on type. On a kamikaze UAV with either one of BAHA, BULUT, or BOZBEY acting as a relay, the range can be extended significantly, considering the fact that HAVELSAN’s unmanned systems are being developed to work in conjunction.
