ASELSAN has listed the KORKUT 100/35 SB palletised air defence system with a 35 mm cannon that can be used fully mobile or deployed for static use from trucks.
Truck-mounted KORKUT 100/35 SB, using a single 35 mm revolver cannon, previously shown with rough scaled models on multiple occasions, has been put on ASELSAN’s website with more details.
In contrast to the KORKUT SPAAG family with twin airburst-capable 35 mm revolver cannons, KORKUT 130/35 SB, using a single revolver cannon, opens space for extra systems and is available for 6x6 trucks.
KORKUT 100/35 SB’s notable feature is that it is a standalone system mounted on a detachable pallet, meaning that it can be used in a mobile configuration or the platform can drop the system off a location to be kept under protection.
The system uses a single 35 mm revolver cannon with a fire rate of 550 RPM, identical to the one on the KORKUT SPAAG family. In addition to conventional 35 mm ammunition, ATOM 35 ABM and ATOM 35 IABM (High pellet count variant) airburst ammunition are also available, with the former already in use. In addition to airborne targets like UAVs, ATOM rounds were tested against ground targets.
In addition to the 35 mm revolver cannon, a jammer that appears to be a KANGAL derivative (Might be baseline KANGAL or the newer KANGAL FPV) is present for soft-kill.
KORKUT 100/35 SB also has its own sensor suite with a gimbal EO/IR system and a set of KALKAN 050-G AESA radars. KALKAN 050-G is a short-range S-band AESA radar that is optimised for short-range air defence systems or their other components (KORKUT C-RAM, AKREP 100-G FCR, İHTAR Jammer...). KALKAN 050-G will also be used for the new variant of KORKUT SPAAG displayed in IDEF2025, alongside KANGAL FPV jammers.
