Otokar Receives New Order for Cobra II 4x4 Armoured Vehicle

Otokar announced an order from an unnamed customer for its Cobra II 4x4 tactical armoured vehicles, worth $83.6 million, with the deliveries planned for 2025.

The export to an unnamed country is on a fast track, with the deliveries set for 2025, which means in one month. It is not known if this will add a new country to the 13 or not, as it might also be for the same or a different existing service branch.

Cobra II, compared to the first Cobra line of 4x4 vehicles, features vastly improved protection and internal space to accommodate larger payloads or new kinds of missions. The vehicle is available in many variants, including APC, short-range air defence, anti-tank, pickup, extended wheel base (EWB), MRAP, fire support (Armed with MIZRAK 25 turret), ambulance, SATCOM, and radar vehicle.
