ROKETSAN and STP Sign Joint Production Deal for TEBER

During ADEX 2024, ROKETSAN and Azerbaijani STP signed a joint production agreement for the TEBER Laser+GPS guidance kit for Mk81/82 GPBs.

One of ROKETSAN's products at the forefront, the TEBER guidance kit, will be produced in Azerbaijan after Turkiye with the agreement.

ROKETSAN's subsidiary in Azerbaijan, Azroksan is displaying the TEBER guidance kit to be produced jointly. The kit has been integrated into Azerbaijani Su-25 ground attack aircraft under the LAÇIN Merhale-1 modernisation by Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ).

The agreement covers the joint design and development of new guidance kits as well, which will help Azerbaijan gain technical experience in this field.

Azroksan has also displayed the extended-range 122 mm artillery rocket with a range of 40 km. The rocket is likely meant for BM-21 Grad MLRS in Azerbaijan's inventory which has a range of 20 km with the baseline rockets. It is widely speculated that Roketsan had received first examples of BM-21 in 1990’s following the collapse of USSR, from newly established Azerbaijan.

In addition to ex-USSR MLRS, Azerbaijan is also a user of ROKETSAN's TRLG-230 230 mm Laser+GPS guided artillery rockets used in conjunction with UAVs for targeting.
