ROKETSAN announced two deals with SAMI and its land systems subsidiary, SAMI Land, for the joint production of cruise missiles and ATGMs, respectively.
The two deals signed during WDS2026 between ROKETSAN and Saudi Arabia's SAMI will form a production leg in the Gulf for cruise missiles and anti-tank missiles.
The deal signed with SAMI for cruise missiles consists of joint production, while the one with SAMI Land for ATGMs also includes sales. ROKETSAN did not specify the type of missiles to be produced.
ROKETSAN has built a portfolio for both classes of missiles with the cruise missile group, including SOM, SOM-J, ÇAKIR, and ATMACA family, while the ATGMs range from man-portable to long-range (KARAOK, OMTAS, UMTAS, UMTAS-GM).
ROKETSAN and EOS Come Together for Laser Weapons
Another important deal signed during WDS2026 for ROKETSAN was with Australian EOS, covering cooperation and joint development on laser weapons.
By the inspection of the two firms' laser weapons' advantages, and the statements from the officials, TurDef understands that there will be joint developments drawing from said advantages, such as high power rating for EOS Apollo and the structure of ALKA that is both compact and comprehensive.
