KORGAN UAV nest demonstrated its multi-launch capability by launching a salvo of three MERKÜT FPV kamikaze UAVs, both developed by TİTRA subsidiary SAVX.
KORGAN, mainly developed for smaller UAVs, demonstrated its provision for offensive use by salvo-launching three MERKÜT FPVs, which have recently entered the inventory of the Turkish Army.
The test video shows that the floor was positioned low to accommodate three MERKÜT FPVs and fitted with a stack holder to allow a stable takeoff.
In addition to being a storage and launch unit, KORGAN also establishes connection between the UAV and the operator as a node.
The small size and light weight of KORGAN can allow rapid installation on ground or naval platforms with sufficient space, in addition to stationary deployment. Mobile deployment of a similar UAV nest has been observed on some of the Ukrainian USVs, which deployed FPVs to attack Russian air defence systems located close to the shoreline.
