The first flight of Turkey's first Cargo-UAV Kargo 150, developed by Dasal Aviation Technologies, a subsidiary of ASELSAN and ALTINAY, took place as part of TEKNOFEST.
Turkish electronics company ASELSAN and UAV manufacturer Altınay have joined their forces and formed a new company DASAL. DASAL is focused on UAV manufacturing with a special purpose. Kargo 150, which was developed locally with its own resources, will meet the logistics needs of military outposts that are difficult to reach. It has a payload capacity of 150 kg and a horizontal flight speed of 100 km/h. The Kargo 150 platform"s range can be extended when necessary, with an operational duty radius of 40 km.
