World Assisting Turkiye After Earthquakes
A state of emergency was declared in the region due to two major earthquakes in Turkiye on February 6, 2023, which affected ten provinces. Death toll from earthquake rises to 6,957 with 38,224 injured Turkiye. The World Health Organisation declared a “Level 3 Emergency”. Level 3 stands for the highest emergency, WHO’s agency-wide assets are called upon to be mobilised.

Pakistan displays the JF-17 that downed India’s MiG-21 in 2019
The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) displayed the JF-17 Thunder with the claim of hunting the Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG-21 at the IDEAS 2022 defence exhibition. Indian and Pakistani jets engaged over the ceasefire line in disputed Kashmir on 26 February 2019. Pakistan had claimed that two Indian fighters had crossed the Pakistani border.
