SYS Started the mass production of the Turkish 12.7 Machine Gun
Turkiye will equip its platforms with Turkish 12.7 mm machine guns. The Defence Industry Agency (DIA) has reached a new milestone in the mass production of 12.7x99 mm machine guns. Samsun Yurt Savunma, known for its Canik Handguns, started mass production. The machine gun will be installed on land armoured and light vehicles, naval vessels and air platforms. It is also used by infantry on a tripod mount in anti-vehicle and anti-personal roles. The company underlines that its product is the world's most durable Heavy Machine Gun(HMG) with the lowest dispersion rate.
