SIPRI announced the biggest arms exporter in 2023, and Turkiye is listed as the 11th biggest arms exporter.
SIPRI estimates an increase of 3.7 per cent in global military expenditure in real terms in 2022, reaching $2240 billion. Türkiye’s decreased 26 per cent.
SIPRI published its global arms trade report for 2022. The report indicates increased arms imports to Europe while US domination increases.
