The Argentine Army published in the Official Gazette the call for public tender 0942/2024 for the purchase of second-hand Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.
The intention is to replace the Bell UH-1H and Huey 2 fleet in air assault missions. The Helicopters can be as old as those manufactured in the 1990s.
The replacement programme is limited to three helicopters even though Argentina initially planned to acquire at least twelve rotor blades.
