The agreements were signed by Özgür Taylan Sarı, Vice President at ASELSAN, and Eng. Mohamed Badr Al-Sadah, CEO of Barzan Holdings. The signing ceremony was attended by Haluk Görgün, head of the Secretariat of Defence Industries, and Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, and Chairman of Barzan Holdings.
ASELSAN and Barzan Holdings said the expanded BARQ joint venture will cover additional high-technology areas, alongside selected local production capabilities in Qatar.
The parties also noted that the updated framework aims to deepen cooperation on technology transfer, industrial know-how, and the development of local technical expertise between Qatar and Türkiye.
