CİRİT C-UAS Missile Headed to EM&E Group’s Weapon Systems TurDef

ROKETSAN and EM&E Group signed a MoU covering the integration of the CİRİT C-UAS missile on the Spanish firm’s weapon systems at Eurosatory 2026 exhibition.

ROKETSAN and EM&E Group signed a MoU for CİRİT C-UAS during Eursatory 2026, covering the integration of the laser-guided C-UAS missile on EM&E Group’s weapon systems.

This marks the entry of ROKETSAN’s CİRİT C-UAS missile to the European market, which can be described as quick, considering it was unveiled a month ago at SAHA EXPO 2026. Laser-guided missiles/rockets have received considerable attention in Europe for C-UAS use following the realisation that conventional air defence missiles are not exactly sustainable and laser-guided munitions offer not only lower cost per engagement but also larger capacity. Some of the notable moves in this direction include the ramp-up in French FZ275 LGR’s production and the integration of laser-guided rockets on fighters.

EM&E’s ODIN 6x6 C-UAS to Use the Missile?

As to which EM&E product is likely to use CİRİT C-UAS, the answer is not far. The MoU was signed in front of the Spanish firm’s ODIN 6x6 C-UAS system in a new configuration that includes a 30x113 mm cannon, EchoShield MESA radar, interceptor UAVs, and, more importantly, a four-round pod for MANPADS or laser-guided rockets.

CİRİT C-UAS

CİRİT C-UAS is a variant of CİRİT 70 mm laser-guided missile specialised for use against low-flying aerial targets. The changes in design include an RF proximity fuse and a new guidance control algorithm for a better probability of kill. CİRİT C-UAS is confirmed to be used on PUSU-C missile launcher using a single CİRİT pod and four EchoShield radars.
