ASELSAN will participate in LAAD 2025, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from April 1 to 4, to foster regional partnerships and explore new collaboration opportunities to support Latin America’s increasing defence and security requirements. The company aims to enhance its role in the region by providing precision guidance systems, innovative public safety solutions, and modernization programs by leveraging Brazil's well-established industry.

At stand G50, ASELSAN will showcase the SADAK 2T smart twin carriage rack, TOLUN GPS/INS-guided munition, GÖZDE 82 laser precision guidance kit, and LGK 82 laser guidance kit in the air-launched munitions field. It will also showcase public security solutions, including ASTELA 3710 mission-critical hand-held radios, MİDAS intrusion detection system, and the ODAKAN “CityGuard” surveillance product family.

In addition to its demonstrations at LAAD, ASELSAN’s ongoing modernization efforts in Latin America highlight its capability to provide tailored and mission-ready upgrade solutions across multiple defence domains. The company has already proven its expertise through its modernization of Leopard 2A4 tanks for the Chilean Land Forces and its contributions to securing the borders of several regional countries. With its newly opened Santiago office, ASELSAN continues to pursue new opportunities in the region, offering innovative upgrade programs to extend the lifecycle and operational readiness of land, air, and naval platforms.

ASELSAN President & CEO Ahmet Akyol shared his insights on the company’s participation in LAAD 2025: “As ASELSAN, we attach utmost importance to Brazilian and the entire Latin American market as part of our global expansion strategy. At this point, I believe LAAD will serve as an ideal platform to strengthen ties with our partners in the region. From modernization programs to precision-guided munitions and public security technologies, we are confident that our field-proven systems will effectively meet the region’s defence and security requirements. We are eager to pursue industrial collaborations, technology transfer agreements, and joint development projects in the region.”
