China displays MD-22 hypersonic drone mock-up at the China International Aviation & Aerospace Zhuhai Airshow. It is believed that the MD-22 drone is a testbed for hypersonic technology.
CAS Institute of Mechanics and the Guangdong Aerodynamic Research Academy (GARA) have developed the UAV.The UAV will reach Mach 7 (8,645 km/h) with a range of 8,000 km.
