Chinese Spacecraft Drops Unidentified Object Into Space

The United States claims that a Chinese spacecraft in orbit has dropped a secret object into space. China remains silent. United States claims that a Chinese reusable spacecraft (CSSHQ) in orbit around the Earth dropped an object into space on May 24. The dropped device has never been photographed, and the Chinese authorities remain silent about it. The CSSHQ has been in orbit around the Earth since December 14, 2023, as part of its third space mission. According to Jonathan McDowell, researcher at the Harvard-Smithsonian Centre for Astrophysics, the United States identifies the object as 59884/2023-195G. Put into orbit by the Chinese Long March 2F launcher, the CSSHQ could be very similar to the X-37B, a space plane designed by Boeing during the 2000s and currently implemented by the U.S. Space Force.
