Altinay Savunma [BIST-ALTNY] company DASAL Aerospace Technologies and Nigeria-based NIGUS International Investment Limited signed a strategic framework agreement during SAHA Expo 2026 covering the supply, local assembly and integration of more than 100,000 unmanned aerial systems.

The agreement includes 100,000 PEREGRINE rotary-wing loitering munition systems, 200 rifle-integrated UAV systems and 100 PUHU cargo UAVs.

According to the companies, the framework also outlines a phased localisation roadmap, including local assembly, systems integration, testing and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities.

The cooperation is expected to support the development of domestic defence industrial infrastructure while expanding operational support capacity for security forces. The companies also stated that the framework could serve as a basis for broader regional cooperation across the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

DASAL General Manager Kutay Çağıl Büyüköztürk said the agreement reflects the company’s effort to expand its footprint in Africa through localisation and technical support initiatives.

NIGUS International Investment Limited CEO and Executive Chairman Prince Malik Ado-Ibrahim described the cooperation as a shift toward localisation-focused procurement models combining platform supply with domestic assembly and sustainment capabilities.

The companies stated that all deliveries and integration activities would be conducted under approved end-user frameworks and in compliance with export control regulations.
