Denmark and Finland received U.S. approval to acquire 155 mm M1156 Precision Guidance Kits (PGK). Total sales reached $182 million.
The State Department approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Denmark and Finland of Precision Guidance Kits and related elements of logistics and programs at various dates.
DSCA approved Demark’s request on August 15 and Finland’s on August 19. Denmark has requested to buy up to 5,832 M1156 Precision Guidance Kits (PGK).
The estimated total cost is $85 million. Finland has requested to buy 5,500 M1156A1 Precision Guidance Kit (PGK) multi-option fuses valued at $.97 million. The principal contractor will be Northrop Grumman.
Finland, Denmark, and Sweden signed bilateral Defence Cooperation Agreements (DCAs) with the United States in December.
