Azerbaijani Synapline displayed its AETER V2 electric powered VTOL UAV for ISR missions with three sensor options during the EDEX 2025 defence exhibition.
AETER V2 was displayed at Azerisilah’s booth at EDEX 2025, with the brochure showing the performance specifications and three different payload options.
The electrically-powered UAV with an MTOW of 25 kg and a payload capacity of five kilograms can cruise at wind speeds of up to 50 km/h and operate for up to four hours. The payload options primarily consist of optics but also include relay equipment with a datalink range of 100 km.
Three electro-optical systems were shown as:
-US-made Trillium HD45: 1.35 kg, TV (1-40x) and LWIR (1-10x) cameras, laser pointer
-Chinese Qiansight QP135T: 1.2 kg, TV (1-40x) and LWIR cameras, laser rangefinder (Up to three kilometres)
-Estonian Therod EOPIC-6-ISTAR: 1.9 kg, TV (1-36x) and LWIR cameras, laser designator (three to eight kilometres)
