Embraer Secures C-390 aircraft Contract to an undisclosed country


According to Embraer’s press release, the company has signed a contract for the sale of two C-390 Millennium transport aircraft to an undisclosed country.
The contract includes a comprehensive training and support package and the supply of spare parts. The C-390 will be specially configured to meet customer needs, such as tactical transport of military units and vehicles, humanitarian aid, disaster management, and medical evacuation.
Brazil-based Embraer recently announced a new subsidiary in Europe called “Embraer Defense Europe”, hoping to promote the A-29 Super Tucano light attack aircraft and the C-390 Millennium transport aircraft.

There are claims that the buyer is Uzbekistan Air and Air Defence Forces, which has Antonov An-12, Antonov An-26, Ilyushin Il-76, and EADS CASA C-295 in its transport fleet.
