Greece Receives the ninth Rafale

According to the post on the official Twitter account of the French Embassy in Greece, the ninth plane took off from Bordeaux, France and landed at Tanagra Air Base, Greece. The aircraft delivered to Greece will be assigned to Tanagra Air Base in the 332nd Squadron of the 114th Fighter Wing.

Greece Receives the ninth Rafale

The 10th Rafale F3R fighter is scheduled to be delivered to Greece on 14 December.

Greece and France have signed a contract to deliver 24 Rafale fighter jets. The first six Rafale fighter jets were delivered to Greece in January 2022. These planes are second-hand. Two new aircraft were delivered in November. The ninth aircraft delivered is also second-hand. Thus, there are nine Rafales in total in the Greek Air Force; seven are second-hand, and two are new.
