The US Department of State has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Israel covering up to 30 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters and associated equipment, with an estimated total value of $3.8 billion, according to a notification released by the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
The proposed package includes 30 AH-64E helicopters, 70 T700-GE-701D engines, AN/APG-78 Longbow fire-control radars, M-TADS/PNVS target acquisition and pilot night vision systems, navigation equipment, electronic warfare and self-protection systems, along with training, spares, logistics and technical support.
