General Manager of Turkish Aerospace Professor Temel Kotil stated that he wants to get a Turkish Fighter (TF) engine by 2028. He considers that TR Motor, a subsidiary of Turkish Aerospace, would get the engine by 2028.
Defence Industry Agency ( DIA) has sent a Request for Proposal (RFP) to Tusaş Engine Industry (TEI), Rolls-Royce- Kale Partnership and TR Motor. TR Motor and TUSAŞ have already signed an MoU to develop the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU). Kotil’s expectations signal that TR Motor has made progress since the signature.
