Norway Postpones P-3 Orion Delivery to Argentina

According to the contract, Argentina was supposed to make the first payment accordingly on October 17. Therefore, the Norwegian authorities emphasized that the aircraft unit would not be released, as reported by local media. The P-3 Orion aircraft that Norway will hand over to Argentina are currently at a U.S. air base in Arizona.

There, the aircraft belonging to the Royal Norwegian Air Force underwent major upgrades before handover. Argentina must pay around $ 51.7 million to pull him out.

The three P-3C versions and one P-3N will replace the P-3B operated by the Argentine Naval Aviation Command. The Royal Norwegian Air Force used P-3C aircraft for maritime surveillance and anti-submarine and anti-surface missions, while the P-3N is designed for search and rescue operations.
