Nurol Signs Production Deal with Hungary for Gidran 4x4

Nurol Makina announced a deal with the Hungarian Government and 4iG Holding for the production of 800 Gidran 4x4 tactical wheeled vehicles in Hungary.

The deal for Gidran 4x4 vehicles was signed with the participation of the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, the Hungarian MoD, the Hungarian Defence Forces and 4iG Holding.

800 Gidran vehicles will be produced, based on Nurol’s Ejder Yalçın, which has been in use with Turkish service branches and export users.

Before the deal’s signing, Nurol Makina delivered Gidran vehicles to Hungary as an initial batch about a year ago.

Considering the large number, Gidran is likely to come in different configurations, which might include APC with manual/remote-controlled machine gun mount, ambulance, and mortar carrier (A prototype was tested with Rheinmetall's Ragnarok 120 mm mortar).
