Embraer confirmed the sale of six A-29 Super Tucano aircraft to the Paraguayan Air Force during the Farnborough International Airshow. The A-29 is a versatile aircraft that allows the Air Force to execute many missions, such as armed reconnaissance, close air support, light assault, and advanced training.
This aircraft's capabilities significantly enhance the Air Force's ability to deploy and operate in different situations. The shipments, comprising the mission equipment and an integrated logistics package, are planned to commence in 2025.
Paraguayan Air Force has alreadysix EMB 312 Tucano light attack aircraft in service.
