Poland Defence Ministry signs contract for 96 AH-64E Apache Guardian Apache attack helicopters. Almost two years after announcing the procurement, Poland signed a contract to deliver 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters to the Polish Armed Forces. The subject of the contract concluded with the US government is the delivery of a logistics and training package and a supply of ammunition and spare parts.
No contract value was shared, but the 2023 FMS notice listed an estimated price of $12 billion. According to various news, the contract costs €9 billion. With Boeing and General Electric, Poland has also signed an agreement of compensatory benefits for € 215 million regarding the transfer of responsibility for maintaining helicopters to Polish factories.
