Russia has organised Moskow’s 8th edition of the International Military-Technical Forum “ARMY-2022”. The expo has a rather unexpected item displayed at this time; Baykar’s TB2 Armed UAV that Ukrainian Armed Forces use against Russia.
The expos are suitable for establishing new connections and exhibiting the product for cooperation and development. Russia does the contrary; It displays a mock-up representing the Ukrainian UAV TB2. TB2 Armed UAVs played such a significant role in the war against Russia that they became a symbol of Ukrainian resistance. Ukrainians wrote a song about the UAV. Neighbouring countries started TB2 Donation campaigns.
When it comes to the exhibited UAV, it is not painted in Ukrainian Armed Forces colours. Furthermore, the serial number and roundel are not in the right place and size. The “UAV” has munition under the wing clearly marked as MAM-L and MAM-C. They are, however, far from representing Roketsan’s mini smart munitions. The size, colour and seeker do not match the company"s products. It is assumed that Russia assembled multiple TB2 UAVs that were shot down or crashed in Syria, Libya, Armenia and Ukraine and exhibited as an armed UAV.
