Under Pasifik Teknoloji, a TİTRA Teknoloji affiliate, SAVX Teknoloji has included an improved thermal imaging system into its FPV kamikaze UAV MERKÜT, thereby improving its operating efficacy in low-visibility environments.
Designed during the last year, FPV MERKÜT has an autonomous detonation system with proximity sensors, a high-security fuse mechanism, and a guided munition system. It is meant to run efficiently in electronic warfare settings with a 20-minute flying range and an 8-kilometer communication range.
Emphasising the continued efforts at development, SAVX Teknoloji Founder Abdullah Aktaş said, “We keep working on sophisticated imaging systems, target recognition and tracking software, and electronic jamming-resistant communication systems. Being always innovative, we have improved operator tracking and situational awareness. Our FPV kamikaze drones’ hardware and software capabilities will continue to be advanced with great dedication.
