TİTRA will debut an FPV kamikaze UAV, a new rotary-wing cargo UAV and a fixed-wing kamikaze UAV in the SAHA EXPO 2024 exhibition.
TİTRA will make a multi-debut of its UAV systems in this year's SAHA EXPO. In SAHA EXPO 2022, the firm debuted its DELİ kamikaze UAV fitted with a HE-FRAG warhead developed by TÜBİTAK SAGE.
The FPV UAV appears to carry a shaped charge warhead against armoured targets, much like the ones used in the Russo-Ukrainian War. FPV UAVs' simplicity and low costs have elevated them as one of today's prime threats against armoured vehicles used by infantry.
The other kamikaze UAV seems to be larger than DELİ and features a gimbal EO/IR system, whereas DELİ uses a fixed one. The main advantages of gimbal EO/IR systems are look-down capability and secondary reconnaissance use.
The new cargo UAV appears to be smaller than the trademark ALPİN unmanned helicopter, suggesting that TİTRA has embarked on a cheaper alternative with easier deployability. It can be regarded as a counterpart to TUSAŞ's Cargo UAV and Camcopter S-100.
