Titra will display the VTOL-capable variant of its Pars UAV developed for field-level ISR operations during IDEF25 defence exhibition to be held in Istanbul.
One of Titra’s unveilings in IDEF25 will be the Pars VTOL UAV. Whereas baseline Pars (Unveiled in IDEF23) is meant for launch via hand or catapult, Pars VTOL will take off on its own using four propellers.
Pars VTOL’s modular architecture will allow the usage of different payloads depending on mission requirements.
Development of Pars could be likened to Boeing’s Scan Eagle, which is similarly launched by catapult but also has a variant with four electric propellers for VTOL operation.
Alpin-2 Rotary Wing UAV to Make Its Debut
Titra will also unveil the new version of Alpin, Alpin-2, which will have greater endurance, stability, and mission effectiveness. Changes include flight performance improvements, jamming resistance, cyber protection, and a broader range of sensor options.
The new UAV also features a new loading mechanism switching from an external hook to an internal winch-based loading mechanism for easier preparations during logistic support operations.
